In august of 2010 King Christopher of Vikesland along with his production company filmed a short film called “A tell tale haunting”. The films lead actor is Travis McHenry, also known as King Montague of Calshara. This marked the first ever fictional film to be created on a micronations soil involving two heads of state. King Christopher worked in the television industry in Canada for 16 years as well as made films. Primarily a writer, producer and Director of film projects, King Christopher has created many films but has two notable films, one being “Gun of the Fallen” and the last film he created “Pocket Change” have entries on the Internet movie data base. King Christopher thought that it only made sense to bring another head of state into his filmmaking process.
“It just made sense” King Christopher says. “Travis is an excellent actor and has great ideas in regards to the filmmaking process. He’s also a talented writer in his own right so I wrote a script with him in mind and thats how this project was born.”
The film was shot entirely within the Kingdom of Vikeslands capitol and major land base using the natural beauty and the government buildings as backdrops. The films cast is comprised of Vikesland citizens with the exception of McHenry who flew up from Los Angeles to play the part and to assist in the directing process.
The film is now near completion in the post production process and will be sent to various film festivals in hollywood and parts of Canada.
King Christopher hopes that the film does well to further the film careers of everyone involved. “There is no doubt that Vikesland and Calsahara’s film industries will once again unite to create another film. In fact scripts are being thrown around as we speak.” Said the King of Vikesland.
It is unclear as to when the film will be available to the general public but a teaser trailer is due to be released in early January.
